We prayed and prayed and as days came

We wondered when you would come

Then one night we saw the light

A message from the Son

The time has come he said to us

To go and find the one

Whom you will love and call your own

When all is said and done

Now off we go to find you child

Knowing we will see you soon

Whenever you wonder how you came to us

We will sing you this tune

Not flesh of our flesh or bone of our bone

But still miraculously our own

Never forget for a single minute
